The Flourtown Businesspersons Association will not be meeting in November 2011, instead we ask that all of you participate in Carson Valley Children’s Aid’s Giving Thanks at Thanksgiving. So instead of meeting and feeding ourselves at a meeting we’ll not meet and help feed others.
Carson Valley Children’s Aid has requested the following items:
- Turkey or Chicken
- Boxed Stuffing Mix
- Instant Mashed Potatoes
- Canned Sweet Potatoes
- Canned Cranberry Sauce
- Canned/Plastic Bottle Applesauce
- Onions, Celery
- Seasonings (seasoned salt, pepper, et.)
- Canned Vegetables (greens, corn, etc.)
- Muffin Mix (corn bread, blueberry, etc.)
- Rolls
- Cookies
- Candy
- Sweet Potato or Pumpkin Pie
- Aluminum Foil, Aluminum Pan
Please feel free to ad any other item(s). Baskets should serve a family of 6-8 people. We want to give the families a bountiful Thanksgiving meal. Baskets can be as simple as a laundry basket purchased at a dollar store. Also grocery store gift cards can also be purchased in place for any item listed above.
Contact Nicole “Nicci” Lee at 215-233-1960 ext. 315 or
nlee@cvca-pa.org for drop-off instructions, baskets can be dropped off at CVCA “Orchard” on November 21, 2011 between 7 am and 1 pm or at BQ Basements anytime on or before November 21, 2011.
